Talk with Jesus

Sometimes, all you need is a little time with Jesus. Prayer is not some in depth vocabulary with big words to where you’re reciting something you don’t understand. Prayer is simply a conversation you have with God. That’s it, simple right?

What I love about God, is that He already knows what you need, He knows how you feel, where you’re hurt, what needs to be restored or where you need help the most. He just wants us to come to Him, in right standings, and pray (talk). Don’t be afraid to ask Him anything or tell Him what you need and even what you want! He cares about us so much He does not limit the things He is able to do, as long as it lines up with His word and His will for your life. God is able to exceed any and everything we can imagine and so much more.

Seek Him. Have you ever heard the phrase “seek His face not His hand”. According to the Bible, God tells us to seek the kingdom of God first, and all things righteous, and everything else will be added (Matthew 6:33). Well as much as God wants to bless us and give us our heart’s desires, He also wants our lives to be lined up to the kingdom. Everything we need and ask for, should serve a purpose in us doing God’s will as we benefit from His blessings. For example, if it’s healing we’re asking for, let that motivation to not just be to live longer, but to be healthy enough to continue be a living witness, aiming to tell as many people about the goodness of God and showing His love throughout our interactions with people.

So go, have a little talk with Jesus ❤️

We pray to the Father in Jesus Name

Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer; in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (AMP)
